I was introduced to fire fighting at a young age. Visiting fire stations was my favorite past time. That is when I knew I wanted to become a fire fighter. I also have a family history of both fire fighters and military. Since the terrorists attacks on 9/11 I knew it was my duty to get involved. The respect you get from serving your country and being in the fire service is a very honorable and proud feeling.
